General Visitation Guidelines (updated 12th Jan 2021)

In order to minimize the risk of the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented visitor restrictions. Due to the current situation in Yokohama city we have revised our visiting policy, from 12th Jan the visitors processing will be changed as follows. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Please note, we may completely stop from visitors depending on the situation of COVID – 19.

 No visitors are allowed to infectious department.
 Generally, no visitors are allowed to intensive care units such as ICU, HCU and in critical private room. However, we will make individual judgments according to the patient's condition.
 For visits to patients who are using private rooms, we will change some of the visit time and subject to the following additional restrictions; -

① No symptoms such as fever above 37.5 degrees or cough within 3 days
② No suspicion of contact with patients with coronavirus infection
③ No history of overseas travel within 14 days
④ Before and after a visit, clean hands with hand sanitizer or soap.
⑤ Face mask is required to put on at all times including in the patient’s room.
⑥ 2 visitors to the patient’s family member is allowed once a day and minors are not allowed to visit the hospital at any time.
⑦ Visits should be limited to the hospital room and should be within 60 minutes
⑧ Visits in the day room is not permitted.
⑨ Visiting hours: Weekdays 14:00 ~ 17:00
Weekend and holidays is same as above

However, if the patient has a fever, we may suddenly deny the visit. Thank you for your understanding.

 When family members come to the hospital by requested from hospital.
Please follow the above ① to ⑤, and we will inform you about the waiting place.

 Due to the risk of infecting other patients, we will continue to deny access to patients who in shared rooms.
